Compulsive Exercising
Though technically not an eating disorder, compulsive exercising is also an important issue. Compulsive exercising is characterized by excessive amounts of time spent exercising in part due to a distorted body image (perceiving your body as too big or too small). A person who engages in this type of activity is likely to attempt to control food intake, too.

Body Dysmorphic Disorder
People who struggle with Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD) are overly concerned with defects (real or imagined) in their appearance to the extent that they spend hours thinking about or looking at perceived defects and avoiding social interaction because of it. BDD affects individuals, regardless of gender, with equal frequency and often results in severe isolation for the person suffering from it.
