Rutgers Student Health is deeply saddened by the tragedy in Orlando, Florida on June 12.  We send our concern and support to those impacted by this violence.  We are particularly mindful of the potential impact on our LGBTQ community as this horrific event occurred at a venue that serves educational and social functions for the LGBTQ Orlando community.  We are also aware that individuals with a similar background to the perpetrator’s identity can be unfairly targeted or misperceived in the aftermath of such a tragedy.  CAPS is here to support all students in the aftermath of this horrific event.

To contact CAPS for support, please call us at 848.932.7884.  During this time, we encourage you to reach out for support as well as extend support to others.  It is important for us to remind ourselves that we are part of a supportive and caring community where we take care of one another.
